What it is
Ba Na Hills is Sun World’s hill station west of Da Nang, above Hoa Vang. People say Bà Nà, or “Banh Hills” if they have only heard it. It is a day out: a long cable car, the Golden Bridge, a French-style village, gardens. It is not a neighbourhood, and it is not where you go for an ordinary Saturday coffee.
The address Sun World publishes is An Son, Hoa Ninh ward, Hoa Vang, Da Nang. The hotline on their site is +84 905 766 777. Hours move. The cable car does not run in serious weather. Check the morning you plan to go, not the week before.
Tickets, as published for 2026
These figures are from Sun World’s own price list for Sun World Ba Na Hills, dated 24 July 2026. They are a non-local versus Da Nang-resident split. They will change. Look at the price on the day.
- Basic adult ticket, visitor: 1,000,000 dong. Da Nang resident: 650,000 dong.
- Children from 1 m to under 1.4 m, and seniors over 70: 800,000 visitor, 550,000 resident, on that same basic ticket.
- Under 1 m: free.
- At 1.4 m and above you are on the adult price.
The basic ticket, on that page, includes the round-trip cable car, the Golden Bridge, the French Village, Fantasy Park, the Moon Castle and Le Jardin. It does not include the Debay wine cellar, the toboggan, or a list of other extras. If someone at the gate is adding those, you are buying a different product.
Sun World also says a 2026 ticket can be used across three consecutive days, but only after you upgrade it at a ticket counter and register FaceID before the first check-in. Do that before you walk in, or you have a one-day ticket.
If you live in Da Nang
Go once, on a clear weekday if you can, so you know what people are talking about when they visit you. The cable car is the good part. The village is a set. Food on the hill is priced for a captive day out. Bring water. Bring a layer. It is cooler up there and the weather closes the system without much warning.
You do not need to take every guest. A swim at My Khe and dinner in An Thuong is often the better evening. Ba Na earns the day when someone wants the view and does not mind a theme park attached to it.
